I have just come across ‘Polar Preet’! Captain Harpreet Chandi, an army medic, who is currently dragging a 90kg sled on a solo unsupported trek across 700 miles of Antarctica to reach the South Pole. The mental and physical toughness she needs to complete the task is formidable. She aims to arrive around 7 January after a journey of around 45 days.
