With COP26 being in the news last month and an ongoing – and welcome – debate out the environment and sustainability, we were fascinated to come across some amazing creative responses to the issues. The website Interesting Engineering listed 21 sustainability innovations ‘that might just change the world’. From robotic bees, Waitrose’s eco-friendly delivery vans and edible (plain, sweet or savoury) cutlery to jewellery from air pollution, solar balloons creating electricity and solar glass, we were particularly impressed with a Dutch supermarket chain introducing in-store herb gardens: just cut what you need. Simple.
